Round Earth Media

We’re Off and Running!

September 15, 2017

Students just arrived in Morocco & South Africa

What a program! From our very first semester in Morocco (more than 5 years ago), with this story in the New York Times.  To last semester’s reporting for public radio stations nationwide (PRi’s The World).

And from South Africa, a great start to the second semester of our new journalism track on a program about political transformation in this fascinating, story-rich country.  Stories from the first semester appeared in USA Todayand US News & World Report.

Very proud to be partnering with SIT Study Abroad on these programs. Do you know undergraduate students interested in exploring foreign reporting?  Find out more about our programs: Morocco here & South Africa here.

We think this is proof positive that smart, intrepid journalism students — with mentoring from the best reporters and editors in the business — can help produce the reporting that top media outlets want and that we all need in our increasingly interconnected world.

Look for more great reporting this semester.  Our amazing students — and everyone at Round Earth — thank you for your support.

With warm regards,
