Nancy Fushan is principal consultant for Fushan and Associates, a consulting group specializing in writing/reporting, editorial and multimedia production services for foundations and nonprofits, as well as philanthropy-related program development, review and assessment for community and private independent foundations.
Fushan previously served as Senior Program Officer for the prestigious Bush Foundation in St. Paul, Minn., where she directed the Arts, Humanities and Public Media grants programs. Prior to her career in philanthropy, Fushan spent more than 20 years as a journalist, producer and senior manager at Minnesota Public Radio, and as a producer and editor for National Public Radio in Washington, D.C.
Fushan has a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She studied literary criticism at the University of California-Berkeley on an NEH Professional Journalist Fellowship.
